“You don’t have to be the best—you just have to be better than you were yesterday.”

      - John Smith

At Dominion Academy, athletics are not treated as an extracurricular activity, but as a necessary balance to the time students devote to academics. We're beginning with the grappling sports of wrestling and judo—disciplines that provide structure, discipline, and a foundation upon which many other aspects of growth are built.

These sports shape habits that extend far beyond competition, supporting students as they progress through their time at the Academy and into life beyond it. All students participate in both wrestling and judo, with the opportunity to specialize in one as they mature. Because the foundations of these sports are closely aligned, they create a natural and effective environment for cross-training.

Much like our academic philosophy, athletics at Dominion Academy offer an experience that is deeply individual, while still fostering a strong sense of team. Each student is challenged to develop independently, yet remains part of a collective pursuit of growth, discipline, and excellence.
