Monday through Thursday, 6:30 to 8 pm, for ages 17 and up. You don't need experience, a certain fitness level, or a kid in the program. You need shorts and a t-shirt.
The adult room is a mix. Here's who you'll be on the mat with.
After a few weeks of watching your kid learn throws, it's hard not to want a turn. Kids and Teens judo ends at 6:30 and the adult class starts right after, so you can train the same night your kid does.
You still know how to shoot a double. Judo will teach you what to do from the clinch, and the grip fighting and conditioning will feel familiar.
Jiu-jitsu players come for the throws. Judo's standing game is the part most grappling gyms skip, and it's taught here by a former national champion.
Ninety minutes of judo is a full-body workout that doesn't feel like one, because you're focused on solving a problem in front of you.

No. Adults start at every fitness level. You control how hard you go, and coaches will scale drills and pick your partners so you can build up safely.
Everyone 17 and up. Kids train in their own classes earlier in the evening: Tiny Kids at 5 pm and Kids and Teens at 5:30 pm.
Yes. Kids and Teens judo (ages 9 to 16) ends at 6:30 pm, right when the adult class starts, so one trip covers you both. Family pricing tops out at $250 a month.
Very much. Former wrestlers pick up judo throws fast, and the clinch and grip work will feel familiar. Wrestling itself is a daytime youth program right now, so the adult class is judo.
Daytime sessions are for youth students. Exceptions are rare and mostly for parents of full-day students, approved by Kyle.
Monday through Thursday at 6:30 pm. Your first week is free.
